Day 01 / … / Lima

¡Welcome to Peru!

Arrival at Lima airport, assistance from one of our representatives at the airport. Then transfer
to the hotel located a few meters from the airport.

Day 02 / Lima – Casa Hacienda del Maíz – Sacred Valley

Breakfast at the hotel.

At scheduled time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to the city of Cusco. Reception at
the airport and transfer to the Sacred Valley. On route, visit the Awanacancha Textile Center,
a place where you can see South American camels and the live weaving process carried out
by the people of the Andes.

Then, visit to the Sarapampa Farm, where you will learn how corn has influenced the Andean
Culture and its important role in the life of the colonial hacienda. Upon arrival to the hacienda,
a guide will be waiting to greet you and together you will enjoy a welcome cocktail with some
homemade snacks. After which you will take a quick guided tour of the hacienda for a true
“corn experience”, from its agricultural process to the interpretation center. Followed by a
truly unique culinary experience with a full 3 course menu made entirely up of locally farmed
ingredients, some of which are distinctly local and others of which were introduced to form
part of the hacienda diet since the colonial period.

After enjoying this wonderful experience, you will be free to walk around the grounds, or
simply relax and enjoy the unforgettable views. Ending the day, you will be taken back to
your hotel where you can rest up and recharge your batteries for the tour the following day.

Day 03 / Sacred Valley – Potato Park – Sacred Valley

Breakfast at the hotel.

Very early in the morning we will visit he Potato Park, you will see fields of native potato,
handicrafts and medicinal plants workshops.

09:10 Hrs. Traditional reception with flowers and music.
09:20 Hrs. Interpretation of the Potato Park as Indigenous Biocultural Heritage Area.
10:00 Hrs. Tasting of native potatoes boiled with a variety of peppers.
10:30 Hrs. Exhibition on native potatoes and current adaptation to climate change.
12:30 Hrs. Traditional Lunch based on native potatoes and local products.

Finally, transfer to hotel located in Sacred Valley and rest afternoon at leisure.

Day 04 / Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel.

This day will be the highlight of our trip, the visit to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Very early
we will depart from the train station of Ollanta towards the majestic city of Aguas Calientes;
the travel time is approximately 01 hour 30 minutes. On route we will appreciate a diversity
of natural landscapes according to the existing altitudinal floors, we will arrive at the Aguas
Calientes town station, and from here we will board the buses to ascend to the Historic
Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world. We will begin the visit
observing the great landscape that surrounds it. The tour will be 02 hours and 30 minutes;
at the end of it will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes to make purchases. At the
scheduled time, transfer to the station to board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Arrival and
transfer to the hotel in Cusco.

Day 05 / Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning you will be a tour of the city of Cusco where we will visit the Cathedral, the
Koricancha and the nearby ruins: Qenqo (Ceremonial and Ritual Center, place where the
sacrifices were made), Puca Pucara used by the Emperor Pachacutec as tambo),
Tambomachay (also called “The Bath of the Inca”) and Fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Return
to the hotel. Afternoon free for personal activities.

Day 06 / Cusco – Puno

Breakfast at the hotel.

07:00 Hrs. you will be transferred by private transportation to Puno. The ride, which takes
approximately 08 hours, you will visit the Little Chapel of Andahuaylillas, Archaeological
Center of Raqchi (Wiracoha´s Temple), and buffet lunch in Sicuani.
Then, visit La Raya (highest point on the route 4,335 m.a.s.l, where Cusco (Qechua culture)
and Puno (Aymara culture) join, Pucara and Kalasasaya Archaeological Center. Arrival and
transfer to selected hotel.

Day 07 / Puno – Cooperativa Agroindustrial – Puno

Breakfast at the hotel.

Early departure to the Cooperative Agro Industrial COOPAIN Cabana, which is at 1:15 hrs.
To the north of the city of Puno. Since the year 2012, this cooperative began the direct export
of organic quinoa to different countries of the world, mainly the United States, Germany,
France, Holland among others. Here we will visit the fields of quinoa and the processing plant
and will explain all the processes of sowing and harvesting. Return to Puno and box lunch
on route. Rest of afternoon at leisure.

Day 08 / Puno – Titicaca Lake – Puno

Breakfast at the hotel.

Full day excursion in the highest navigable lake of the world. First, you will visit The Floating
Islands of Uros, which is inhabited by the old Aymara. These people have kept their traditions
and customs generation after generation.
Then the journey continues to Taquile Island where you will have the opportunity to
appreciate their handicraft and textiles. Lunch in Taquile. Return to Puno.

Day 09 / Puno – Lima / …

Breakfast at the hotel.

Farewell from the city of Puno, according to the time of departure of your flight to Lima, we
will transfer you to the airport. (B)
