Day 01 / … / Lima

Upon arrival at the Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, a representative of Peru 4×4 Adventures / Quality Travel International will be waiting for you. Transfer to the hotel and check-in (15:00 hrs).

Day 02 / Lima – Paracas – Camping (350 km)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Short briefing about the expedition and use of the 4×4 units, as well as safety regulations. Departure towards Paracas. En route, visit the Tambo Colorado archaeological site.
16:30 – transfer to the meeting point with buggies to begin the tour through beautiful dunes, including sandboarding and sunset photography.
Arrive at an exclusive desert camp surrounded by dunes. Enjoy a bonfire, welcome drink, cold cuts, and a gourmet dinner under the stars.

Day 03 / Camping – Nasca (200 km)

Breakfast.
Continue the drive through the Paracas desert, exploring the dunes and beaches of Barlovento and Antana. Cross the famous “Dune of Beyond,” used during the Dakar Rally route.
Picnic lunch on one of the endless desert beaches. Continue to Ocucaje, then drive to Nasca.

Day 04 / Nasca – Pausa (400 km)

Breakfast.
Morning overflight of the Nazca Lines. Continue along the South Pan-American Highway toward the Yauca Valley, known for its olive plantations. Detour to Parinacochas Lagoon, home to flamingos, and pass near the sacred Sara Sara Volcano before reaching the town of Pausa.

Day 05 / Pausa – Cotahuasi (320 km)

Breakfast.
Drive to the town of Cotahuasi, gateway to the spectacular Cotahuasi Canyon. The next day, visit the canyon and the Sipia Waterfall (150 m free fall), famous for its rainbows and breathtaking landscapes.

Day 06 / Cotahuasi – Andagua (150 km)

Breakfast.
Drive through the countryside of Andagua, known for potato and fava bean crops. Explore the Valley of the Volcanoes, a stunning landscape of volcanic cones and lava formations from past eruptions.

Day 07 / Andagua – Chivay (300 km)

Breakfast.
Continue through the Colca Geopark, a region with 119 geosites, including the Andagua Volcano Valley and the impressive Colca Canyon. Learn about the area’s volcanic and tectonic history before arriving at Cabanaconde.

Day 08 / Chivay – Condor Cross – Chivay (70 km)

Breakfast.
Early departure to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint to observe Andean condors in flight. Visit Tapay viewpoint and admire the canyon’s depth. En route back, stop at Maca and Yanque villages to visit their colonial churches and enjoy local drinks such as Sancayo or the Colca Sour.

Day 09 / Chivay – Puno (300 km)

Breakfast.
After breakfast, drive to Puno, crossing the Andean highlands with stone forests, lagoons, and remote villages such as Imata and Lagunillas. Visit the pre-Inca burial towers of Sillustani beside Lake Umayo. Continue to the hotel in Puno.

Day 10 / Puno – Lake Titicaca – Puno

Breakfast.
Leave the 4×4 vehicles at the hotel. Take a boat excursion to the Uros Floating Islands and Taquile Island on Lake Titicaca. Experience the local culture and crafts of these ancient communities.
Return to Puno. (B, L)

Day 11 / Puno – Cusco (400 km)

Breakfast.
Early drive to Cusco. En route, visit Pucara, cradle of Andean culture, and the pre-Inca site of Pikillacta, known for its adobe architecture built by the Wari civilization. Stop in Sicuani for lunch before arriving in Cusco.

Day 12 / Cusco / Lima / …

07:00 hrs – Drop off 4×4 vehicles.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima and international connection. (B)
